Qi Gong is a system of health and longevity that has been practised and refined for centuries by dedicated masters of the art. Together with acupuncture, herbs, and massage it is one of the cornerstones of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
This class provides a supported deep dive into the practice of the Keystone Qi Gong set of Ba Gua Zhang. Ba Gua Zhang is an internal martial art that focuses on awareness, sensitivity, and a relaxed structure to channel effortless power. The Keystone exercises coordinate posture, movement, breathing and intention to instil the fundamental principles of the art into your body and mind.
Through this practice, you will learn how to regulate the flow of Qi (vital life energy), clear long-held blockages, and restore balance to your body's functions. Over time, you will cultivate an intuitive ability to stay calm and centred in the face of life's challenges.

Fully recall and independently perform all 6 exercises from the Ba Gua Keystone Qi Gong set.
Develop a practical understanding of how to use intention, rather than force, to guide movement.
Embody the internal principles of Qi Gong deeply enough to tangibly feel them working inside you.
Have a well-rounded toolkit to help relieve stress and improve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Have a more direct understanding of Yin, Yang and the Daoist perspective of reality.
Gain the confidence to continue practising the Keystone exercises independently, after the course.
