Makers’ Market

Where
UNSW Art & Design
UNSW Art & Design
Corner of Oxford Street and Greens Road, Paddington NSW 2021
When

Saturday 10 October from 10am to 4pm

Presented by UNSW School of Art & Design, the Makers' Market is a one-day convergence of contemporary craft and design, bringing together Greater Sydney and NSW's most compelling emerging and established practitioners under one roof.

Expect work that pushes "craft" as a category and into practice: ceramics, jewellery, textiles, fashion, print, sculpture and everything in between, chosen for depth as much as diversity. This is a snapshot of where craft is right now, material-driven, process-led, unmistakably local.

Talk directly to the makers. Ask about the process, materials, and the decisions behind the work.

Throughout the day, a program of hands-on workshops and talks opens the thinking behind contemporary making, for the curious and the committed alike. Every purchase is a direct investment in independent practice, in the people building Sydney's creative future, one object at a time. Join us for a compelling selection of contemporary craft and design.
