you're okay, City of Sydney Creative Studios
When

Every day, 10am to 2pm Friday 9 October to Sunday 18 October

Ceramic Business District takes over the City of Sydney Creative Studios, transforming the CBD building into a celebration of contemporary ceramics through exhibitions, a makers market and a hands-on workshop.

Across the program, discover two exhibitions: Transience.Gadigal.2026 by Wong Ching Yee (Jenny) 黃靜儀, an evolving café installation shaped by its everyday community; and Dream Horse by Sylvia Zi Xin 子欣 a vibrant window installation of childhood dreams, curated by Luna Wenxin Xu 徐雯莘.

On Saturday 10 October, browse the Ceramic Business District Market from 10am–2pm, featuring functional ware and one-of-a-kind objects available to purchase directly from local makers. Then from 1–3.30pm, join ceramic artist Wong Ching Yee (Jenny) 黃靜儀 for a beginner-friendly clay handbuilding workshop, where you'll learn foundational techniques, experiment and play.

This project is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW and the City of Sydney Creative Studios.
