Tofu Monkey: Taste sessions

SYDNEY at the exquisite Vive Cooking School (The Cannery), 61-71 Mentmore Ave, Rosebery

This isn’t a rushed tasting or a noisy launch party. It’s a deliberate, friendly test kitchen experience — with good food, good people, and plenty of opinions welcome.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a lightly styled Tofu Monkey space and given a moment to settle in. We’ll kick things off with a short intro to what Tofu Monkey is all about, then it’s straight into the good stuff.

You’ll taste two Tofu Monkey dishes from our upcoming menu and get to have a play with tofu and different flavour combinations of your own — it's designed to show off different tofu styles, flavours and textures. Expect silky, crispy, saucy moments and a few surprises along the way.

The event runs for 3 hours, from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, and you are welcome to arrive at any time and stay as long as you like. We recommend allowing at least an hour to enjoy your time with us and taste everything.

From savoury bowls and crunchy tofu burgers to dessert tofu and playful drinks, it’s healthy-ish comfort food you’ll actually crave.
