Sewing and mending

Mondays, 1pm to 2pm Monday 3 February to Monday 15 December Except Monday 14 April, Monday 21 April, Monday 9 June, Monday 7 July, Monday 14 July, Monday 29 September and Monday 6 October

Learn how to use a sewing machine, hem trousers, mend your favourite outfit and make friends with crafty like-minded people.

This self-running group is supported by our Chinese volunteer and instructed in Mandarin/ Cantonese.

You are welcome to come in and use the sewing machines in the centre at any time.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Mon, the Community Services Worker at the Ron Williams Community Centre, on 02 9265 9180 or mzhang@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au

The Ron Williams Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. We have free computers, Wi-Fi, snooker and table tennis, tea, coffee, biscuits, and books to borrow. See the full program here.
