To celebrate NSW Seniors Festival, Casual Pickleball at Ultimo Community Centre will be free for older adults on Tuesday 4 and 11 March.
Pickleball is a combination of tennis, table tennis, and badminton, played on a badminton-sized court using a paddle and perforated ball. It’s a fantastic way to improve your health, coordination, and balance while building new skills and friendships.
All skill levels welcome: Play solo or bring a friend.
Social play format: Sessions are casual, with 3 pickleball courts available for all players to share. Players rotate to ensure everyone gets a chance to play depending on demand during the session.
We have equipment available for hire which is free for these sessions during Seniors Festival. You're also welcome to bring your own equipment.
For more information about our facilities and programs, visit the Ultimo Community Centre website.
No accident or injury insurance is provided. Participants play at their own risk. If you have any concerns about participating in the sport, please speak with you medical professional.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, contact the centre on 02 9298 3111 or ultimocc@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au. Alternatively you can subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates about the centre.
