All programs and activities at Pyrmont Community Centre will be free for people aged 65 or over.
Here are some of the highlights:
Move for all/Gentle exercise – Monday 2 and 9 March 1pm, Friday 6 and 13 March 10am
Join our experienced facilitators for workouts tailored to older adults. The classes offer a range of exercises focusing on stability, falls and arthritis prevention in a safe and social environment. Designed to help you stay active in your day to day life. All abilities are encouraged to attend.
Walking basketball – Thursday 5 March 9:30am
Whether you're an experienced basketballer or have never touched a ball before, please come and join our walking basketball at the Maybanke Courts for some fun mini drills, followed by a game to show off your new skills.
Walk and talk – Thursday 12 March 9am
Our staff will take you for a relaxed walk around beautiful Pirrama Park. A nice social outing while getting some exercise outdoors.
Social morning tea – Friday 13 March 11:15am
Hear about what's going on in our local area and find out about other social activities, gym and exercise programs at our centre, whilst catching up with other people. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided.
Social creative workshop – Friday 13 March 1pm
Learn a new craft in a fun, welcoming environment. Everyone is welcome. All materials will be provided. For a group of 15 people, bookings are essential so try get in early and email pyrmontcc@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au to reserve a spot!

You will be required to complete our pre-exercise form prior to starting any classes. If you answered "yes" to any of the health conditions listed on the page, it is recommended that you seek medical clearance before participating in any of our classes.
