Thursday 16 April from 9:30am to 12:30pm
Be inspired by nature in this morning printing workshop with artist Olivia King, a recent graduate of NAS.
Olivia's work often features birds and nature. Bring along any natural objects such as flowers, leaves, feathers or sticks that draw your attention. You can also bring some images you have taken and we can print these in the office for use on the day. You can also spend time in our garden drawing from nature or taking some pictures to use in your prints. Students will explore these themes through different styles of printmaking including monotypes and gel prints and learn how their prints can be used on clothing, cards and other items.
Students who are enrolled for a full day will be provided with a supervised lunch break on site.
Please ensure student bring a hat, waterbottle, snacks and wear enclosed shows.
Teens are also welcome to bring along headphones if you wish to listen to music whilst you make art!
