Thursday 16 April from 1:15pm to 4:15pm
This ceramics workshop highlights a vibrant celebration of Peruvian Spirit, where students create small pinata shaped creatures inspired by the rich traditions and joyful artistry of Peru.
Students will learn basic handbuilding techniques to create hollow forms shaped like animals or imaginative figures. Instead of holding candy, these sculptures will hold personal ideas, memories and emotions. Through decorating and story tellign this workshop encourages creativity, cultural awareness and self expression.
Students who are enrolled for a full day will be provided with a supervised lunch break on site.
Please ensure student bring a hat, waterbottle, snacks and wear enclosed shows.
Teens are also welcome to bring along headphones if you wish to listen to music whilst you make art!
