Tuesday 14 April from 1:15pm to 4:15pm
This art workshop introduces Abstraction inspired by Piet Mondrian, using simple shapes and primary colours.
Students will pick out key elements from a scene or subject to make compositions using collage. They’ll also recreate Mondrian’s iconic geometric art using paper and cellophane to create colourful windows, and begin inventing unique marks and symbols to express themselves creatively.
Students will have a morning or afternoon tea break, and a lunch break if they are booked in for a full day. Breaks are supervised and usually held outside in our beautiful garden (weather permitting).
