Stop guessing your cashflow. Learn a practical, CEO-level approach to financial clarity.

Many business owners have financial reports, but not financial clarity. Even established businesses can feel exposed when cashflow is unpredictable. This session introduces a CEO-level approach to cashflow by turning your numbers into a practical model that supports better decisions. We’ll focus on the metrics that matter, the operational realities that influence cashflow, and how to strengthen financial stability without adding unnecessary complexity.

Key topics covered:

The difference between “having reports” and having clarity

Why profit doesn’t automatically create security

The key levers that drive cashflow in established businesses

Using a simple model to strengthen stability and reduce volatility

Takeaway tool

Minimum Viable Profit calculator and Minimum Viable Profit model

Key Expert: Cate Kemp, Founder, Cate Kemp

About Cate:

Cate Kemp, armed with brutal honesty and a dubious sense of humour, was a career bookkeeper before falling head-over-heels for business itself – and realising that most small-business accounting in Australia exists to keep the tax man happy. Not cool.

She’s since gone from managing balance sheets (now handled by her professional services firm) to teaching founders and accountants how to maximise performance and ditch compliance-first thinking. Her flagship program, The Control Room, blends financial control, process design, personal development and coaching to drag leaders out of "financial busy work' and back into the driver’s seat.

Along the way she’s built a software company, an ICT firm, and more recently wandered into the wild world of EV charging infrastructure. Cate blends hard financial control with unhinged curiosity, a habit of using her inside voice on the outside, and just enough chaos to keep you awake, laughing, and slightly concerned about what she’ll say next.
