About Amanda:
Amanda is dedicated to promoting growth and sustainability in the Tourism, Creative Industries, and 24 Hour Economy. She is passionate about bringing Government, business and the public together working for the benefit of the community and economy. Amanda is a Director of Organic Food Markets, which operates markets and events across Sydney including 11 farmers markets and 2-night markets. She is also founder of Angel Place Consulting providing advice on government relations. As Head of Government and Stakeholder Relations at SXSW Sydney, Amanda helped establish Sydney's newest major event, working with stakeholders across all levels of Government, industry and the community. She has a background in working in major events at SXSW Sydney and within the New South Wales State Government, as a Senior Policy Advisor to Minister for Tourism Stuart Ayres.
