Wednesday 15 October from 10am to 12pm
The City of Sydney, in collaboration with NSW Health, invites you to a special community event exploring end-of-life care and planning.
This 2-hour program of informative talks from expert speakers, including representatives from NSW Health and Vinnies, covering topics such as palliative care, advance care planning, and support services available to the community.
After a break for lunch, the afternoon will feature facilitated Death Cafés – safe, welcoming spaces for open conversations about death, dying and bereavement. These sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences, reflect, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
This event offers both practical knowledge and meaningful dialogue, helping our community approach end-of-life matters with greater confidence, understanding and compassion.
RSVPs are essential. You can RSVP online or call Juanita Nielsen Community Centre on 02 9265 9146.
