Monday 6 July from 9:30am to 12:30pm
Sculpt your own shark, whether true to life or a friendly clay workshop.
Sharks are a group of elasmobranch cartilaginous fishes characterized by a ribless endoskeleton, dermal denticles, five to seven gill slits on each side, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head.
Students will have a morning or afternoon tea break, and a lunch break if they are booked in for a full day. Breaks are supervised and usually held outside in our beautiful garden (weather permitting).
If your teen is coming and going independently, please complete the waiver giving permission for them to leave at the end of the class.
Please note: Students are required to remain on-site during their lunch and morning tea breaks.
In order to reduce the amount of unclaimed works from the school holidays and be more sustainable in our art making, an additional cost of $8 is payable if you wish to have your child's work glazed and fired.
All pottery must be collected within 4 weeks after completion. We are unable to store items beyond this time frame due to limited space, to make room for new work and maintain a safe and organised environment in the school. WWAS takes no responsibility for loss or breakage. Works remaining at the conclusion of the 4 weeks may be repurposed, sold for fundraising purposes or disposed of.
