Tuesday 30 June from 9:30am to 12:30pm
This ceramics workshop offers teens the opportunity to explore clay in a relaxed and supportive open studio environment. Students can experiment with wheel throwing, handbuilding, sculptural forms, and surface decoration while developing their own creative ideas and projects. Caitlyn will provide demonstrations, guidance, and one-on-one support throughout the workshop, with students encouraged to work at their own pace and explore techniques that interest them.
If you are staying for the full day, please ensure to bring a water bottle, hat, snacks, lunch, and a jacket.
If your teen is coming and going independently, please complete the waiver giving permission for them to leave at the end of the class.
In order to reduce the amount of unclaimed works from the school holidays and be more sustainable in our art making, an additional cost of $8 is payable if you wish to have your child's work glazed and fired.
Please note: Students are required to remain on-site during their lunch and morning tea breaks
All pottery must be collected within 4 weeks after completion. We are unable to store items beyond this time frame due to limited space, to make room for new work and maintain a safe and organised environment in the school. WWAS takes no responsibility for loss or breakage. Works remaining at the conclusion of the 4 weeks may be repurposed, sold for fundraising purposes or disposed of.
