Everyone is invited to join the fun and meet the team at our free open day.
Come and explore St Helen's Community Centre, enjoy talks, activities and a light lunch and hear from local community groups and organisations.
The day will include:
10am: Kil.n.it pottery workshop This relaxed beginner -friendly 1 1/2 hour workshop will have you creating a small set of textured coasters or trinket dishes using simple hand building techniques.
11am: Your identity is important. Let's protect it! This talk presented by ID Support NSW will support you to create and maintain strong passwords, spot scams and learn how you can better protect your identity online.
12pm: Welcome and light lunch Hear what activities and events are on offer and St Helen's, have a chat to our staff and enjoy a bite to eat.
12pm: Music by Harley Ruha Enjoy this acoustic performance over the lunch break.
1pm: Acrylic art class Try your hand at some acrylic art painting with artist Nick Swann.
1pm: SHARE exercise class Get your body moving with a Living Longer Living Stronger class presented by SHARE.
Pop up stalls
10am to 2pm: Food Waste Avoidance Learn from City of Sydney waste avoidance experts about simple, practical ways to keep food fresh for longer, cook the right portions and save money.
10am to 2pm: JNC Aged Care Services Learn what services and activities are offered by JNC and how you can sign up.
10am to 2pm: SHARE over 55's exercise Learn what exercises classes are offered by SHARE and how you can sign up.
