Lunar New Year event: Road safety workshop

Join a road safety workshop to help older adults make safer choices when walking or catching public transport.

Workshop topics include:

• a brief overview of statistics

• changes to your health as you age (hearing, vision, strength flexibility and movement)

• we are all pedestrians at some stage of our journey

• let’s talk about potential risks

• pedestrian safety tips and tricks

• using pedestrian infrastructure to help us (signalised crossings, pedestrian crossings, pedestrian refuges)

• transport options – planning ahead, staying safe on and around the bus, staying safe on the train.

Conducted in English with Mandarin interpreting this workshop.
