Lantern Festival celebration
Wednesday 5 February from 1pm to 3pm
The Chinese Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao Festival marks the final day of the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.
Join us for a fun afternoon to experience the Lantern Festival with:
Chinese seniors dancing and singing
Tang-yuan tasting: small glutinous rice balls filled with nuts or fruits, symbolising togetherness
Chinese knotting and craft appreciation
Make-your-own lucky red envelope activity
Lantern decorations

Ron Williams Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. We have free computers, wifi, snooker and table tennis, tea, coffee, biscuits, and books to borrow. See the full program
