Tuesdays, 11am to 12pm Tuesday 13 January 2026 to Tuesday 24 March 2026
Across ten weeks, participants learn simple, low-impact movements inspired by traditional karate, adapted for all fitness and mobility levels. Each session includes stretching, coordinated movement, mindful breathing and safe functional strength work — supporting healthy ageing, fall-prevention and everyday confidence.
No experience is required. All exercises incorporate the use of chairs for stability, and every session is delivered at a calm, comfortable pace.
Led personally by Kancho Ino, the Founder and Head Instructor of Jin Sei Ryū Karate-Dō International, the program provides a warm, respectful and community-focused environment where older adults can reconnect with movement, build confidence and enjoy meaningful social connection.
