The Sydney Connection conducts weekly inner city dining walks of Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and Potts Point.
Accompanied by our owner/operator Maree Sheehan, a well-connected local guide, our walks are aimed at visitors and Sydneysiders who want to go ‘where the locals go’ for inspiring food, good service and cool interiors.
We offer our guests the chance to experience Sydney's fabulous small bar culture and dine at three or four different inner-city Sydney restaurants in one evening. If you're a local looking for a new perspective on our fine city this is the perfect experience.
For visitors it's a great opportunity if you are only spending a short time in Sydney and want to gain an understanding of our food culture and night time vibe. You can ask your guide all your Sydney questions: our history, the demographics of the precinct, the latest real estate prices or just where to go for breakfast.
Our first venue is housed in a smart Modernist building with a stylish curved façade and al fresco dining, Bei is in the Taylor Square precinct of Darlinghurst, featuring a seasonal Mediterranean menu. Situated a few steps from the famous Darlinghurst Rainbow crossing and pulsing Oxford Street.
Inclusions:
a welcome cocktail
4 course set-menu food and beverages
the wonderful company of your local guide who tells fabulous stories and anecdotes about the restaurants, people and precinct.
*As we need to book multiple venues for this tour please allow 72 hours when booking your chosen tour date. If your booking request is last minute please WhatsApp us to check if we can accommodate your request.
