Author Talk: David Hall with Superbeast

When

Friday 24 July from 10:30am to 11:30am

In this candid memoir, David reflects on the accident that led to the amputation of both legs at age sixteen, and the path that followed from recovery and rehabilitation to becoming one of the world’s leading wheelchair tennis players.

The book traces David’s journey from his childhood in Sydney through to an extraordinary sporting career that included Paralympic gold at the Sydney 2000 Games, multiple international titles and years ranked world number one.

Blending personal reflection, humour and insight, Superbeast explores resilience, determination and life beyond elite sport.

Copies of Superbeast will be available for purchase on the day.
