Art therapy workshops for older adults

Wednesdays, 2pm to 3:30pm Wednesday 20 November to Wednesday 11 December

Art therapy encourages creative expression through painting and drawing. It works by providing a safe space to express your feelings so you can gain control over your life and improve your wellbeing.

Join Catherine and Michelle from the Older Persons Wellbeing Network who will run this 4 week art therapy workshop.

You must be 65 years or over. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people 55 years or over can attend.

A registration form will be need to completed and signed at the first workshop.

The City of Sydney's Reginald Murphy Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am until 3:30pm. There are a table tennis and snooker table, computers, wifi, books to borrow, a piano to play and sewing machines to use, and tea and coffee, all for free. Everyone is welcome!
