Matcha has taken the world by storm, appearing in everything from lattes to desserts—but how many people truly know how to whisk a proper bowl of matcha? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll go beyond the trend and dive into the art of matcha, starting with the mindful, time-honored techniques of the Japanese tea ceremony.

You’ll learn what matcha really is, the key differences between ceremonial-grade and culinary-grade matcha, and how to prepare and drink it properly to maximize its benefits in your daily life.

Once you’ve mastered the traditional method, we’ll transition into the modern world of matcha, where you’ll craft a perfectly balanced, frothy matcha latte. Using both the chasen (bamboo whisk) and contemporary café-style techniques, you’ll gain the skills to enjoy matcha the right way—whether in a ceremonial bowl or a stylish to-go cup.

This workshop is in collaboration with Simply Native Matcha.

Join us on a journey through matcha’s rich tradition and modern evolution—one whisk at a time!
