Landscapes & Spacescapes explores music that establishes a sense of place — from folk-inspired countryside and windswept coastlines to imagined worlds and celestial spaces. These works don’t just depict scenery; they create atmosphere, memory, and emotion, inviting you to journey through landscapes both real and otherworldly.

Program:

  • Vaughan Williams, Five Variants on ‘Dives and Lazarus’

  • Arnold Bax, Irish Landscape

  • Peter Sculthorpe, Songs of Sea and Sky

  • Aram Khachaturian, Adagio from ‘Gayane’

  • Andrzej Panufnik, Landscape

  • Aaron Jay Kernis, Musica Celestis.
