Sound Sorcery (supported by City of Sydney, Pleasure Club & Sydney Band Instruments) are proud to present... Sound Sorcery 2026 @ The Pleasure Club, Newtown.

Do you travel in a body that is continuously silenced, excluded, and overlooked in live music spaces? 

It's no coincidence that music – with its power to transcend – has been made inaccessible to those who actually have something important to say.

Quite frankly, we’re sick of it, and we’re sure you are too. 

To break the hex we’re starting at the place where voices can be heard for the first time, and connections can be conjured: The Jam. 

We’re brewing up a magickal concoction with the following ingredients: 

• killer house band of women and gender diverse mofos

• featured artists from diverse backgrounds

• wheelchair accessible queer venue 

• vibes, vibes, vibes

Instead of stifling your vulnerability, squandering confidence, and indulging in toxic competition, we want you to help us co-create a space where we celebrate difference and uniqueness.

Let the alchemy of Sound Sorcery turn your body into an instrument for change.
