Teen Neighbourhood and homes: Oil Painting with Caitlyn King

In this class with artist Natalie Popovski we’ll be using personal photographs as inspiration to create oil paintings based on home, neighbourhoods, and familiar streets.

Students will explore ways to translate everyday places into paintings through colour, texture, and composition while learning foundational oil painting techniques. The focus is on capturing atmosphere and memory, and turning ordinary scenes into something personal and expressive.

Students will have a morning or afternoon tea break, and a lunch break if they are booked in for a full day. Breaks are supervised and usually held outside in our beautiful garden (weather permitting).

If your teen is coming and going independently, please complete the waiver giving permission for them to leave at the end of the class.

Please note: Students are required to remain on-site during their lunch and morning tea breaks
