RSL LifeCare provides free services and support to veterans and their family members. Services include housing support, career transition support, counselling, financial assistance, DVA application assistance, wellbeing services and more.
The Poppy Ball is RSL LifeCare’s annual fundraiser. A prestigious, VIP attended black-tie event hosted in partnership with the Australian Defence Force.
For anyone with an interest in maritime military history, this year’s Poppy Ball provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join 500 guests aboard HMAS Canberra (III) docked at Fleet Base East, Wooloomooloo (Garden Island) on Saturday 8 November 2025.
All funds raised at the Poppy Ball go towards providing essential services to Australian veterans and their families.

Naval Ceremonial sunset overlooking the harbour.
Live music from the Navy Rock Band.
Entertainment and live auction, the evening is hosted by MC Vince Sorennti.
Tickets to the Poppy Ball are available now. You can buy an individual ticket for $395, or a group of 10 tickets for $3,900. Bring a group of friends or team members along for a spectacular night and support our veterans. Guests must have photo ID matching their ticket registration.
