More than 4,000 planets have been discovered and tonight our team of experts will take you on a journey to these strange 'other' worlds.
Hear from astronomer presenters about everything from space volcanoes to dark energy! Then venture outside to be immersed in a mindful stargazing activity and view the night sky through the telescopes with volunteers from the Northern Sydney Astronomical Society. These powerful telescopes will allow a personal discovery into the world beyond Earth.
One complimentary glass of wine and a grazing box is included with each ticket purchase. You will be able to select your preferred grazing box after booking your ticket.
This event will take place regardless of weather. In the event that the night sky cannot be viewed other activities will be set up for you to enjoy.
This event will be delivered by A/Prof. Ángel R. López–Sánchez who is the Director of the MQ Astronomy Observatory and a celebrated astrophysicist and science communicator.
