Sunday 26 July from 7am to 12pm
A fast Harbourside course, an epic after-party, and a cause worth running for, welcome to the Real Insurance Harbour 10, taking place at The Rocks, Sydney Harbour.
After a standout debut, the Real Insurance Harbour 10 returns, and Sydney's run clubs are already marking it in their calendars. Back for the 15th year, this is the fast, flat Harbourside 10km and 5km that is quickly becoming the defining mid-winter moment on Sydney's racing calendar.
Created by the founders behind Australia's largest marathon, the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, the Real Insurance Harbour 10 brings that same world-class race DNA to a spectacular Harbourside course, with a little extra magic thrown in. Think electric start-line energy, crisp winter air, and one of Sydney's most iconic finishing celebrations: an after-party at Cruise Bar.
Built for the run club generation
The Real Insurance Harbour 10 was designed with Sydney's new wave of runners in mind, the ones hitting sunrise sessions, showing up each Saturday at parkrun, chasing personal bests, and sharing their stories on socials.
Whether you're lining up for your first ever 5km, gunning for a 10km PB, or rallying your crew for a mid-winter hit out, this is your chance to be part of a movement that is reshaping the rhythm of Sydney's running culture.
And when the race is done, the celebration begins.Cruise Bar & Restaurant, an Official Afterparty Venue for this year’s event, is set to be as memorable as the race itself, and will have exclusive discounts for every runner who flashes their finisher medal at the bar.
Running with purpose: The We Run Foundation
The Real Insurance Harbour 10 is proud to partner with the We Run Foundation, a movement dedicated to fostering inclusive communities through the transformative power of running.
The We Run Foundation channels donations directly back into running initiatives across Australia. Fundraising efforts from participants registered for this year's Real Insurance Harbour 10 will support the Run Beyond Project, a powerful initiative that gives young people from disadvantaged and marginalised communities a life-changing experience through running, placing training programs into schools to get kids moving and into the Real Insurance Harbour 10 event.
The numbers make the mission clear: only 7.9% of Australian adolescents aged 13–17 meet daily physical activity guidelines (AIHW, 2024), while 85% of adolescent girls globally fail to meet minimum WHO activity recommendations. The We Run Foundation exists to change that — and the Real Insurance Harbour 10 is proud to be part of the solution.
We Run will have game-changing fundraising incentives linked to Run Clubs and solo runners - think access to TCS Sydney Marathon and Tokyo Marathon 2027 entries…
