Tuesday 24 February 2026 from 12pm to 1pm
Drop clothes at 12pm; Swap at 12.30pm
Come along to our informal clothes swap.
On the day you can check in your 5 items of clothes between 12pm and 12.15pm. We'll check them for suitability and exchange them for tokens. Each token can be swapped for 1 item of clothing or accessory during swap time.
Doors will open for the swap at 12.30pm til 1pm.
We limit it to 5 items of clothing per person. You bring it on the day only, not beforehand, all washed and cleaned. Then you can pick up to 5 items of clothing in the room – simple!!
Join the social sewing group at 1pm if you need to alter or upcycle any items.
Join the reuse revolution. Let us save the planet from the huge fabric waste in landfills. Clothes swapping is a clever and thrifty way to refresh your wardrobe, save money and help fight textile waste. If you can't find your size or clothes you'd like to swap you can share your tokens with others.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Lucy Munevar, community worker on 02 9265 9133 or email lmunevar@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
The Reginald Murphy Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm.
