Ready to dive into painting? In this 2.5-hour class, you'll learn the basic skills needed to tackle any type of painting – whether it’s landscape, portrait, still life or abstract work.

With guidance from an expert tutor, you'll cover core fundamentals, including:

  • Basic colour mixing

  • Acrylic paint application techniques

  • Using paint mediums for effects

  • Tips for good compositions

You'll also learn how to use materials efficiently, reduce waste, and get comfortable with acrylics from start to finish.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a good understanding of the painting process and be ready to continue practicing on your own.

This workshop is the perfect foundation for our other themed one-off painting classes. The skills you build here will help you succeed in future classes, making them easier and more enjoyable. Please see link below.
