Extra Burrawa Aboriginal Climbs will run throughout NAIDOC Week, with $100 from every adult ticket donated to Tribal Warrior, plus a free water bottle for every Climber.
This NAIDOC Week, join us at BridgeClimb to celebrate and reflect on the rich history, culture and stories of Australia’s First Peoples.
From Sunday 5 to Sunday 12 July, we’re offering increased availability of Burrawa Climbs, giving more guests the opportunity to experience Sydney from a First Nations perspective.
Guided by your Climb Leader and First Nations Storyteller, Burrawa Climb invites you to journey to the Summit of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge while hearing stories of Warrane / Sydney Harbour, the Gadigal people, and the enduring connections between Country, language and place.
Burrawa – an Aboriginal word meaning ‘above’ or ‘upwards’ – offers a unique lens through which to see Sydney differently, including stories of significant locations such as Bennelong Point and Barangaroo, and the cultural history of the Harbour itself.
As part of NAIDOC Week celebrations:
$100 from every Adult Burrawa Climb ticket will be donated to our charity partner, Tribal Warrior, supporting Indigenous programs and communities
Every NAIDOC Week Climber will receive a complimentary limited-edition water bottle featuring artwork on our BridgeClimb suit by local Indigenous artist Taleena Simon
