Mondays, 7pm to 9pm Monday 13 October to Monday 15 December

This online Modern Greek course will consolidate what you have learned and will help you to expand your vocabulary, grammar, and understanding of the language. This course expands on the Modern Greek Course: Beginners Level 1 to give you a more nuanced and complete understanding of the language.

With new situational topics, you will have plenty of speaking and listening practice, ensuring that you will feel confident using new Modern Greek language skills.

Please note this Modern Greek beginners course will be held online via Zoom.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this Modern Greek beginners course, you should have enhanced your career prospects by: 

  • Talk about your habits, daily routines, and activities

  • Understand schedules, timetables, and time

  • Express yourself using the appropriate past, present, and future tense

  • Order and talk about food and drinks in bars and restaurants

  • Ask for and provide directions on how to get to different locations

  • Describe towns and places and what you like or dislike about them

  • Talk about past experiences, using the past tense

  • Talk about skills and talents and discuss people’s strengths and weaknesses

  • Speak more confidently with better pronunciation and extended vocabulary
