Originally used to adorn formal gifts and ceremonial offerings, each knot carries its own meaning — gratitude, good fortune, longevity, and connection. In this workshop, you'll not only learn to work with these beautiful cords, but also understand the story and symbolism woven into every knot you tie.

In just two hours, you'll learn foundational mizuhiki techniques and take home a piece you made yourself — a pair of earrings or a key charm. You'll leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for Japanese craft tradition, and something beautiful to show for it.

Classes are kept intentionally small so that every participant gets personal guidance and plenty of time to ask questions.
