Mindful Collage Workshop – Art as Self-Discovery

Where
9-27 Moorgate St
Chippendale NSW 2008
Art 2 Heal Studio
When

Sunday 10 August from 1pm to 5pm Sunday 31 August from 9am to 1pm

Step into a safe and inspiring space to connect with yourself through creativity, presence, and intuitive expression. This workshop, guided by artist and holistic therapist Fabio Borges, is a unique experience that blends art-making with emotional awareness, inner listening, and self-exploration.

This is not your typical art class – no artistic skills are needed. You’ll be gently guided through meditation and collage techniques to access your inner world and translate thoughts and feelings into a symbolic visual piece. The collage becomes a mirror – reflecting where you are, what’s calling your attention, and how you relate to your current moment.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, seeking emotional clarity, or simply curious to reconnect with your creative essence, this workshop offers a therapeutic and uplifting space to do so.

What to expect:

  • A guided meditation and mindful check-in to ground yourself and to help with your intention

  • A hands-on collage session using curated imagery and materials

  • Space to reflect and share (optional)

  • You’ll create your own A3-sized symbolic artwork to take home

What’s included:

  • All materials (magazines, paper, glue, scissors, boards)

  • Tea and light refreshments

  • A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere LGBTQIA+ friendly

  • No prior experience needed

This is for you if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed or disconnected and want a reset

  • Are working through emotions or personal questions

  • Want to explore art as a tool for healing and clarity

  • Are curious about using creativity to support wellbeing

Duration: approx. 4 hours

Group size: Maximum 8 participants. Intimate, limited spots to ensure a personal experience.

About the facilitator:

Fabio Borges is a visual artist and holistic practitioner passionate about the healing power of creativity. He combines art therapy principles with mindfulness and emotional intelligence to help people reconnect with their inner voice and transform personal insights into visual symbols.
