Saturday 2 May from 8pm to 11pm
Around 15 years ago, when The MiTCH was The Buckland, Alice Terry would play on a Sunday evening. Due to noise complaints, those gigs were shut down, and a decision was made to no longer allow music in this location.
After conversations with the council and a grant from the 24-Hour Economy, this century-old pub has been transformed into a brand new venue.
Alice's powerful voice shut down the music, and it will gloriously bring it back, 15 years later.
“If you haven’t heard – been astonished by, luxuriated in – Alice Terry’s acrobatic and soul-drenched vocal, then you have made poor life choices and there’s no getting away from it. Matched up with these beautiful, salty songs and the glorious swirl of sound plucked from that guitar, it’s a fabulous, fabulous time. Theatre, soul, blistering musical talent, and so very very much fun.”- The Underground Stage
