Guided Ride: Oxford Street cycleway - city connections

When

Sunday 16 August from 11am to 1pm

Start and finish at Taylor Square as we explore the Oxford Street Cycleway and discover how it connects into Sydney's growing active transport network.

This ride is about more than following a route. It's about building the confidence to use these connections for your own everyday journeys.

Ride alongside experienced bike educators from Pedal Set Go and other people keen to explore Sydney by bike. Along the way we'll answer questions, share practical tips and help you understand how the city's cycleways, shared paths and quieter streets connect, making it easier to plan future trips for work, study or recreation.

We'll ride the Oxford Street Cycleway, heading towards Circular Quay, where we'll point out access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and discuss different route options. From there we'll follow the Kent Street Cycleway into Darling Harbour before returning via Liverpool Street to Taylor Square.

We'll stop regularly to discuss route choices, highlight useful connections and answer those "How do I get there?" questions that can make all the difference when planning your own rides.

Whether you're looking to build confidence, discover new routes or simply enjoy exploring Sydney with a supportive group, this guided ride offers a relaxed way to experience the city while developing practical knowledge you can use again and again.

Guided rides are led by experienced bike educators specialising in active transport from Pedal Set Go on behalf of the City of Sydney.
