Greenwich Village Arts Trail, the first weekend in November, is an amazing community event showcasing local artists in the beautiful harbourside suburb of Greenwich.

The open studio event is a great opportunity for visitors to meet and chat with artists in their work environment, learn about their processes, and purchase art directly. This year there will be 39 artists, from prize-winning full-time artists through to talented professionals with amazing hobbies. The artists cover a huge range of the fine arts – fabric printing, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, photography, children’s book illustrations, jewellery, and painting in every style – watercolour, pastel, oil, acrylic, ink, encaustic and mixed media.

The Arts Trail is a fun day out for visitors, with cafes and picnic spots available around the harbourside suburb. A free hop-on-hop-off shuttle bus has been provided by Lane Cove Council, from Greenwich Wharf to Studios 1, 2, 3, and 4 and back to the ferry. Greenwich also has trains and metro nearby, and buses all weekend. Or alternatively, drive and park all day.

Hard copy maps are available from the local Greenwich shops, or find digital versions online at www.greenwichvillageartstrail.com or on FB or Instagram, where you will also find more information about the artists.
