Sunday 17 May from 10:30am to 11:15am
In this workshop with authors Zane Comber and Conor McCammon, you’ll learn how to come up with ideas and use your senses to bring locations and stories to life! Get tips to help you invent interesting characters, keep readers engaged, collaborate with friends and craft basic illustrations. These sessions are designed to be engaging, boisterous, fun exercises that help students unlock their imagination and develop their creative potential.
Recommended for ages 6 to 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet outside the Dixson Room, Ground Level, Mitchell Building, State Library of NSW.
We have multiple author workshops happening on the same day! For more Family Sunday fun, check out our Writing workshop with Kate Foster or Workshop with Kristin Darell.
This event is presented in partnership with Sydney Writers’ Festival.
