Saturday 16 May from 1:30pm to 3pm
Step into the shadows of Glebe Point Road and discover the dark stories, whispered legends and notorious characters that have clung to this Inner West thoroughfare for decades.
In this gripping talk, author Heather Jones leads audiences through Glebe’s most unsettling tales – stories shaped by scandal, violence and rumour. From the brutal murder of Henry Trevascus, to the fearsome reputation of stand-over man Frederick “Chow” Hayes, and the urban legend of Alfie and Hetty, these accounts reveal a side of Glebe rarely spoken about aloud.
Take a walk along Glebe Point Road and uncover its most chilling tales – if you dare.
Presented by Heather Jones, Dark Tales
