Wednesday 9 April from 10am to 11:30am
Be guided around Botanica: The Art of Disguise and Deception exhibition by the curator Alissa Cook and get exclusive insights into the creation of the exhibition.
Within a small group you will be able to take the opportunity to ask Alissa about your favourite artist or artwork to find out more about the background and inspiration.
You will then be given a tour of the Daniel Solander Library, by Librarian Miguel Garcia, which is Australia's oldest botanical research library. It's world-class collections contain over 250,000 items, including books and journals that feature species that are also in the Botanica: The Art of Disguise and Deception exhibition.
Exhibition and library tour will be followed by morning tea provided by Foundation & Friend’s Volunteer caterers.
