Orchids are the world’s second-largest family of flowering plants, and they have fascinated, entranced, and excited people for generations with their beauty and desirability of flowers.
Go behind the scenes of the orchid glasshouses at the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney and find out what these flowers attract and learn more about how to grow them.
This tour will be facilitated by specialist orchid volunteer Peter D’Olier and fellow orchid judge and volunteer guide, Jane D’Olier, who also volunteers in the herbarium mounting room.
