Thursday 23 July from 10:30am to 1:30pm Thursday 23 July from 2:30am to 5:30pm
Get hands-on with AI to create marketing content faster and connect with your customers.
Running a small business means you’re not just managing operations – you’re also your marketing team. From social media and website updates to emails and promotions, it can be hard to keep up when day-to-day tasks come first.
In this hands-on bootcamp, produced by the Australian Institute of Management in partnership with the City of Sydney, you’ll learn how to use simple AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to create content more efficiently, stay consistent across your channels and connect with customers.
You’ll work through real marketing tasks on an interactive platform built for this program. From defining your brand voice to planning a month of content, every exercise uses your own business, so you leave with practical tools and a clear plan you can start using straight away.
This bootcamp is for small business owners in the City of Sydney area who want to save time, simplify their operations and get more done with AI. You don’t need any prior experience – just a willingness to learn and try something new.
What you’ll learn
Find your biggest time drains – identify the marketing tasks that take the most effort and where AI can help, from social media to email and planning
Define your brand voice – make sure AI-generated content sounds like your business, not generic or robotic
Create social content faster – generate a week’s worth of on-brand posts in minutes, ready to edit and schedule
Repurpose your content – turn one idea into multiple pieces across different channels to maximise your effort
Write better prompts – use a simple framework to get more useful results from AI tools
Create repeatable workflows – move from one-off tasks to simple, repeatable marketing processes
