Storytime at Darling Square, 3 to 5 years

Storytime is a fun interactive session of storytelling for 3-5 year olds and their carers. The program fosters a love of reading and helps develop important early literacy skills and social interaction in readiness for school.

Join our 30 minutes sessions, spending time together reading stories and singing songs.

Bookings are not required, please allow time for arrival as session start promptly at 11:30am

Weekly sessions available at other library branches: Green Square, Newtown, Surry Hills and Glebe.

Term 4: 14 October - 2 December 2025, no sessions during NSW school or public holidays.

11 November: Join us for a special National Recycling Week Story time at Darling Square Library on Tuesday 11th of November, 2025! Let's all learn how to become better at recycling and managing our rubbish with the City of Sydney Resource Recovery team. Our session will be followed by a craft activity for all to enjoy!

25 November: For International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) 2025, our library will be running a special themed story time to bring more awareness and inclusivity to our communities. The session will be followed by a fun craft activity for all to participate.
