Saturday 29 November | 10 am – 12 pm | Free Entry

Yirranma Place, 262 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst

Many stories create a place

Yirranma means “many create” — and this Open Day is your invitation to discover a space where community comes together with purpose, creativity and heart.

Once a church, then a private home, now a precinct for social impact — Yirranma Place opens its doors for one special morning celebrating food, music and community in the heart of Darlinghurst.

A place for everyone

Whether you’re a curious local, a family looking for Saturday fun, or someone seeking connection, Yirranma Place opens its doors to you.

Home to purpose-driven organisations including Two Good Co., Equality Australia, Youth Action, Burraga Foundation, Smart Recovery, NCOSS and Global Sisters, the precinct becomes a living showcase of creativity, care and impact — all free and open to the public.

This year’s event proudly supports Twenty10, raising awareness and funds for their work creating safer futures for LGBTQIA+ youth.

What’s on

Enjoy complimentary coffee from the Two Good Café, plus sweet and savoury treats from the Sweet Memories cookbook. Taste Tilly Dogs by Love, Tilly Devine, Ciao Fabbrica’s tiramisu, and Elato Gelato — the social enterprise donating 50% of profits to fight food insecurity.

Wander the Social Enterprise Market Hall featuring Indigiearth, Aunty’s Ginger Tonic, MOOD Tea, Goods for Good and the ReLove Lounge, or join tenant panel discussions with Equality Australia, Youth Action, Global Sisters, Smart Recovery, Burraga Foundation and Two Good Co.

Families can enjoy face painting, craft stations, gingerbread and bauble decorating, kids’ yoga, creative workshops and live organ performances in the historic pews.

From space to space, story to story

Journey through Yirranma Place where every room tells a different story — from the sunlit portico with live music, to the café filled with community connection, to the rooftop BBQ with coffee, gelato and good company.
