Available every Friday, except on public holidays or when Parliament sits, this curated package includes a tour at 11:30am followed by high tea in Strangers’ Restaurant from 12:30pm. Please allow 45 minutes for the tour.
Treat yourself to a quintessential experience at one of Australia’s oldest buildings and enjoy a tour with our expert guides followed by high tea with a view over The Domain parklands.
11:30am – Parliament House Tour
Experience the historical architecture of one of Sydney’s oldest buildings while getting a first-hand look at the workings of Australia’s first Parliament. The tour is conducted in English and is suitable for visitors of all ages. Departs promptly at 11:30am from the main reception desk located at the front of the building.
12:30pm – High Tea
Steep yourself in history with our classic high tea menu that strikes the perfect balance between modern Australian flavours and tradition to please any palate. With tumbling dry ice and sweet and savoury treats galore, enjoy petits fours with a side of history. Your tour guide will walk you to the restaurant at the conclusion of the tour. There will be time for a short break before taking your seats in the restaurant for the High Tea.
