Wednesday 20 August from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
Join us for the third exciting Thrive Connect meetup event, Financial Fitness!
Good finance management means you can focus on the work, and the clients, that you love. And it doesn’t have to be boring, hard, or scary! Our third THRIVE CONNECT event is all about setting yourself up for growth and success. Our special guests – Oliver Garside from Rounded and Kirsty Donachie from The Pen Accounting – will be sharing their best tips, tools, and systems to take the stress out of finance management and plan for the future.
Practical, grassroots advice that will make managing money and planning more interesting, useful, and yes, even fun. Think of it as a toolkit for getting your finances sorted.
Registration is FREE and every THRIVE CONNECT includes plenty of time for networking (nibbles included).
This is a Creative Plus Business event supported by the City of Sydney.
What’s Thrive?
Thrive Sydney is a new program of events, mentoring, and online experiences designed to enhance the professional development and wellbeing of Sydney’s artists and creative community. Supported by the City of Sydney and produced by Creative Plus Business, Thrive brings to the city four initiatives to help creative professionals and artists come together, hear from inspiring industry leaders, access free professional development opportunities, and build new creative and professional networks.
By attending a Thrive Connect event you'll gain access to a dedicated private LinkedIn group, the THRIVE Toolkit (a trove of online resources, business templates, and a free professional and business development course), and be able to book in with a creative industries specialist for free mentoring about your practice or business.
What’s Creative Plus Business?
We’re a social enterprise dedicated to educating creative people and arts organisations about business skills. We help by sharing practical knowledge in a fun and irreverent way, and everything we do is designed to help creatives to feel more confident and comfortable about the entrepreneurial aspects of their creative practice.
