Every day, 10am to 4pm Friday 13 February 2026 to Tuesday 24 February 2026
Barnardos Australia’s annual fundraising art show is returning for its third year in February 2026 and this year, we’re making an even bigger impact! What began as a single night of spectacular art from established and emerging artists, has grown into a two-week celebration of creativity and community.
Barnardos Australia envisions a future where every child feels like they belong. Right now, too many children, young people and families in Australia go without the support, security and safety they deserve. For thousands, the first chapter of their life story doesn’t begin with warmth and care, but with uncertainty and instability. We exist to change that story. “Place to Belong”, isn’t just our theme, it’s our promise and our purpose.
This year’s exhibition celebrates the power of creating safe, supportive spaces where children and families are heard, valued and empowered. We provide vital safety and prevention programs where families only need to tell their story once, and they’ll receive the support they need without judgement. Because when children and families feel seen and heard, they know they belong.
Not only does your visit support our mission, but you can discover inspiring artworks by both emerging and established artists, including Ken Done, Vikki Lee, Antoinette Ferwerda, Jonny Niesche and many more. With something to please a variety of tastes and budgets, this event will captivate both seasoned collectors and casual art lovers alike.
Proceeds will go towards Barnardos Australia’s safety and prevention programs. This will help fund a Community Development Coordinator to expand Bundaleer Community Centre from two to five days a week. The role will provide consistent drop-in support, organise parenting programs and partner with local groups to deliver cultural and community events.
Warrawong is Wollongong’s most disadvantaged suburb - 73% of residents faced food insecurity last year, 72% have safety concerns, and rates of domestic violence and property crime are above average. That’s why Bundaleer is so vital. It offers a “place to belong”, where children and families are seen, heard and connected.
The online auction will be live on Thursday, 29th January 2026 and close at 9:30 pm on Thursday, 12th February 2026.
Opening night tickets are $75. Join us for exclusive access to the range of artworks before the auction closes. 18+ event only.
