Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is located in southern China, bordering Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, with the Beibu Gulf to the south and Vietnam to the southwest. It has the largest ethnic minority population in China.

The region boasts beautiful and majestic natural landscapes, Guilin’s Scenery best under heaven, Longji terrace fields poetic and picturesque, Beihai Silver Beach often called as ‘Hawaii of the East’, the Detian Transnational Waterfall magnificent; it claims vibrant folk life, Liu Sanjie’s folk song sincere and natural, Zhuang brocade exquisite and colourful, Miao silver jewelry unique and magnificent, and the Yao long drum dance expressing respect and love for nature and life; it is also a food paradise, where local dishes such as Guangxi rice noodles, Guilin beer fish, Nanning lemon duck, and Guangxi Suanye are absolutely a must-try.
