Shostakovich No.5 & Grieg's Piano Concerto

To conclude the year, we present a substantial undertaking: a new work, a piano concerto, and a symphony.

We will feature Christine Pan’s composition “Sunburst Lichen.” Christine, a Sydney-based composer, has exhibited her works throughout Australia, Europe, and the United States.

We will present Grieg’s piano concerto with Alex Zhang, the recipient of the Australian National Piano Award. Alex, a Sydney-based pianist, has cultivated an international career spanning Europe and Australia.

The evening will culminate in the performance of Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony.
